"Logistics" Customer Service Supervisor

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Schedule and confirm client appointments via phone and email.

  • Facilitate and resolve client service requests.

  • Maintain daily contact with customers to document and report on the status of pending inquiries regarding account problems, plus some outgoing phone calls.

  • Provide excellent customer service through active listening.

  • Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity.

  • Proven analytical skills. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

  • Upbeat, positive attitude and an approach to work rooted in professionalism.

  • Input data into the company computer platform to keep each customer record updated.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.

  • The ideal person for this job would be a team player, personable, professional, upbeat, and energetic, takes initiative, uses tact and diplomacy.


  • Five years or more of experience providing customer service by phone.

  • Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience is preferred.

  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening

  • Ability to work with customers to resolve inquiries.

  • Good computer and typing skills.

  • Self-motivated individual.

  • Team Player. Candidates must be able to work well in a team environment where a “CAN DO” attitude is required.

  • Dependable. The ability to arrive at work and be available to be on duty for work during a scheduled shift.

  • Comfortable with speaking to customers , during phone calls.

  • Build positive relationships with customers and team members.

  • Initiative to resolve problems and seek answers independently and enthusiastically persist until goals are achieved.
