Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Be knowledgeable of appliance installation/construction skills

  • Interact and communicate with homeowners, employees, material suppliers, inspectors, etc.

  • Maintain customer satisfaction – meet with sales and client in a pre-construction conference, continue to meet/speak with clients throughout the job, conduct pre/post-completion walkthrough with the client

  • Coordinate with the office to verify material orders, scheduling, and deliveries

  • Report to the team regarding progress for client billing and satisfaction

  • Assist team members

  • Be a liaison between operations and other divisions within the organization

  • Review plans and specifications set up job materials

  • Coordinate activities from start to finish, including labor, materials, subcontractors, etc.

  • Determine the project schedule and maintain the schedule throughout the job

  • Coordinate several projects concurrently

  • Advise sales regarding potential change orders

  • Ability to problem solve, prioritize workload, work under pressure and handle unhappy customers and still maintain good composure

  • Appliance installation service a plus

  • Dependable and self-motivated with desire to work year-round

  • Maintain professional appearance and keep uniform respectably clean

  • Keep the job site clean and safe, protect clients’ property, keep tools well maintained


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Maintenance, 2+ years (Preferred)

  • Appliance Installation a plus  2+ years (Preferred)

  • Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required

  • Own a standard set of tools to perform skills/trades required

  • Be able to verify personal vehicle insurance required

  • Strong working knowledge and technical skills in the below trades:

  • General carpentry

  • Basic plumbing knowledge

  • Basic electrical knowledge

  • Ability to push pull and lift 75lbs or more at a time required

  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, kneel, and dig for 4 or more hours at a time required

  • Ability to work in extremely cold and hot temperatures required

  • Ability to safely handle tools and equipment
